WHAT’S ARBOR?
Arbor Music Series

Arbor celebrates the authentic chamber music experience. Imagine an era when friends gathered in intimate settings to hear live performances of the latest classical music, sharing conversation and discovery, perhaps a glass of wine or two!
Arbor expands the traditional chamber music repertoire through annual commissions of new music. Through these commissioned pieces, salons, concerts, and cultural activities, Arbor invites audiences and artists to explore connections between new and old, and between language and music.
LENORE DAVIS
Artistic Director

Pianist Lenore Davis is known for presenting innovative programming, for her exceptional musicianship and ease of rapport with audience members.
Her background in chamber music is rooted in her studies with the Beaux Arts’ Menahem Pressler and grew as she founded and directed of NJ’s premier chamber series (Arbor Chamber Music – 1992-2006).
Through her commitment to intimate concerts, she promotes dialogues between audience, performers and creative artists. In 2013, she brought Arbor to NY, where curated programs mingle classic and new works of chamber music with readings and literature.
